Post-secondary advising

The greatest thing is to be found at one's post as a child of God, living each day as though it were our last, but planning as though our world might last a hundred years.

The Academy is not only a college-preparatory school; we are also a Kingdom-preparatory school. To assist students and parents, we provide testing information, college and university admission resources, and transcript guidance for students to pursue the prayerfully considered direction of their choice after The Academy. This may include, but is not limited to: apprenticeships, college or university study, licensing or certification for a trade or skill, a gap year to travel or work as a missionary or volunteer, active duty military service, or direct to the workforce.

Students and Families are encouraged to contact the Academy’s Rhetoric School principal, Mrs. Rhonda Jones at or by calling 405-478-2077 ext/ 302.

There is currently a 21-month window to file a FAFSA for each academic year, beginning 9 months before the academic year on October 1st, and ending at the same time the academic year ends on June 30th the year after. For example, a FAFSA application for the 2017-2018 school year may be submitted as soon as October 1st, 2016, and latest on June 30th, 2018.

The Post-Secondary Advisor will assist students and parents in this process, and in coordinationg locations and student travel to testing sites.
