MORNINGS WITH MOM & Donuts with Dad

Moms, dads, grandmothers, grandfathers, and friends, join us for breakfast and community before school. 

Breakfast will be from 7:15-7:45am each morning. 

Mornings with Mom: North-Monday & Tuesday, October 14th & 15th; South-Wednesday, October 16th

Donuts with Dad: North-Monday & Tuesday, February 24th & 25th; South-Wednesday, February 26th

drama productions

We have three separate drama groups- North Campus Dialectic students, South Campus Dialectic students and Midtown Campus Rhetoric students. These are open to the public and we highly encourage all Academy families to support our drama students in these productions. 

Fall Rhetoric Drama Production: Friday & Saturday, November 7th & 8th

North Dialectic Drama Production: Friday & Saturday, March 6th & 7th

South Dialectic Drama Production: Friday & Saturday, April 17th & 18th

Spring Rhetoric Drama Production: Friday & Saturday May 1st & 2nd

Senior classical Capstone presentations

In a real sense, the Classical Capstones are the culminations not only of the Senior Year, but the entirety of The Academy Classical Christian education. Our students have spent the year researching, writing, and reflecting, growing in their understanding of their topic, themselves, and the God who is author of all knowledge and guide of their way.

Come ready to listen in humble wonder at what God has done in the minds, spirits, and lives of our Seniors as they present and answer questions.

6:30 - 9:30 p.m.

School-wide GRIFFIN GAMES!

This has become a beloved tradition full of competition, fellowship, and FUN! Our Houses compete in fun, team building field day events, including a tug of war versus our staff, and then end the day with a run and the prize for the coveted Griffin Games Cup! 

WHEN: Wednesday, May 6th at 12:30 P.M. - 3:30 P.M.

  • Students wear house shirts/socks and PE shorts, pants & shoes.
  • Students will eat lunch at school and be dismissed at noon to head to the games.
  • Families with a Tuesday home-day are encouraged to attend but are responsible for transportation.
  • Students need to be picked up at 3:30 P.M.
