Notes from the North Campus – 1.15.21

It will be an adventure to see what

God’s sovereign plan for 2021 will be!!

From your north campus principal, Ann Taylor

I hope everyone has had a safe, healthy, restful break and is ready to start a new semester! It has been fun to see everyone back on Monday and Tuesday after our long Christmas break. Busy week, cold temperatures (please remember to send your student(s) with warm outside wear for matins and chapel), back to work with excitement for learning all around the campus. We started back strong and pretty healthy!!

Notes

  • Feasts – all postponed until after spring break
  • Festivals for grammar will function like Durin’s Day in December – teachers will let you know the details (Zoom and some live components may be possible)
  • Speech Meet finals – possibly live stream and/or recorded for viewing later – waiting to see

Calendar events for this coming week:

  • January 15 Knitting & Crocheting after school Fourth Grade ONLY
  • January 18 Martin Luther King’s Day NO SCHOOL
  • January 19 Chapel (formal uniform)
  • January 21 Spirit Day
  • January 22 JCL Regular Meeting – spaghetti dinner postponed

As we continue to work with opportunities presented by a number of things, please remember to reenroll as soon as possible. There are several grades that will fill up so don’t miss getting a slot. Reminder and a thanks to all of you for your partnership with The Academy in helping make it the safest possible from all germs during this winter season, take your student(s) temperature prior to coming to school. If they are exhibiting any signs of illness, error on the side caution for the community’s health.

Rejoice in the Lord!!! The adventure of 2021 has begun.
