From your north campus principal, Ann Taylor
What a week – snow, record temperatures, opportunities to know God is in charge of all things!
Week 2 of winter in Oklahoma has been accomplished. Thank you for your partnership as we made decisions on snow day (Wednesday) and virtual campus (Thursday and Friday for those it applied to) as well as home day work for both Bach (Thursday/Friday) and Mozart (Friday/Monday) so we are ready to return to campus (Lord willing) on Monday, February 22 on time! So thankful for all of you! It was nice to be able to “pop” into online classrooms both Thursday and Friday. Everyone transitioned so well students, parents, and our wonderful staff!! Hope your electricity/heat is on or almost by the time this is published, water pipes unfrozen and running, and all is safe. Prayers for all our families!!
NOTES: NO UNIFORM DAY, Wednesday, February 24 RESCHEDULED BY SNOW
This was a leftover from the five-month spring break of 2020! At the Auction in 2019 the Capucille Family won the bidding for the north campus “No Uniform Day” for 2019-20. Needless to say the COVID lock down came before our scheduled day. SO we will be having a north campus “No Uniform Day on Wednesday, February 17th. All students and staff may wear jeans (not torn or having holes) or other appropriate attire in keeping with the general standards of The Academy. This will be a fun way to return to studies after the mid-winter break.
