Lori graduated from the University of Maryland with a BS in Accounting and from California State University (Fullerton) with an MS in taxation. Lori and her husband, Rod, moved to Norman in 2011. They have four children, two of which are at The Academy and two have graduated.
In addition to serving as our Midtown principal, Rhonda also serves as the Accommodations Director. Rhonda has been working with students in educationally developmental roles since 1998.
Rob McKinzie is The ACADEMY Athletic Director and Boys Basketball Coach. Coach MAC earned his bachelor’s degree in Physical Education from York College (NE) and his master’s degree from University of Central Oklahoma. In his free time, Rob likes to ride road bikes and enjoy family vacations.
Alita has enjoyed a rich career in Church Management and recently completed the Christian Non-Profit Leadership Credential program through Azusa Pacific University. Alita and her husband, Jim, live in Edmond and have five grandchildren, three of whom attend The Academy.
Serving for roughly 179 months at the Academy teaching, Josh Spears has taught all manner of subjects, mostly in the biblical, theological and philosophical world after spending the usual amount of months earning a bachelor of arts in Theology from Randall University and a master of arts in philosophy from the University of Oklahoma. In his free time he likes to write website bios, take naps, yell at/because of football games, spend time with one wife/four children, read, watch Netflix, think about climbing fourteeners and steadfastly avoid Oxford commas.
