Forensics at The Academy is made up of participation in three different programs.
Students engage in structured civil discourse with teams from other schools, exploring various ethical dilemmas and viewing them through a range of philosophical lenses. Students train and compete in Ethics Bowl, an event allowing students to defend their ethical stance.
Students form a team that will simulate an entire mock trial using a case written and provided by the Oklahoma Bar Association. Students receive a “role” as attorney, witness, or alternate and prepare with their team.
Students form delegations and represent an assigned country, then advocate on their country’s behalf in a simulated version of the United Nations.
