The Arts at The Academy recognizes creativity in young minds. We pride ourselves on understanding there is a need for cultivation and the growing of intention that directs and redirects the focus, to continue benefiting and strengthening the character of our students. The opportunity to remind them that their abilities, desires, and aspirations belong to a Holy God, The Creator himself. Fine Arts allows God to speak to them through music, art, drama and dance. Teaching discipline, patience and collaboration, in the nature of our lessons, objectives and productions allows the experience of the arts to freely encompass the expression of God in the students’ creativity. The understanding that mastery in the arts is not a sprint but rather a marathon, allows the vulnerability of learning to take form as it grows, creating harmonious joy of being able to guide our students as they develop and grow toward the True, the Good and the Beautiful.
