SUBMIT ARTWORK
Who can submit artwork?
Rhetoric students*, Academy alumni, Academy parents/grandparents, and Academy staff!
What kind of artwork can we submit?
Rhetoric students, Academy alumni, Academy parents/grandparents, and Academy staff can submit any type of visual art (canvas painting, collages, sculptures, etc.) so long as it aligns with our Lewis-themed prompt: “Imagine something ordinary…and then reimagine it as something extraordinary.”
How can we submit artwork?
Once the piece of art is completed, please email a photo and description of the artwork to sm*****@**********ok.org.
What is the deadline for submission?
All photos and descriptions should be emailed by Monday, September 15 at 8:00 A.M.
Can we submit multiple pieces?
Yes.
Can we submit in more than one category?
Absolutely!
When will we receive confirmation if our artwork has been selected to be featured in The Gallery?
The Academy’s Advancement Team will make selections on Monday, September 15 and notify all artists within 24 hours. Arrangements will then be made to collect pieces selected for submission.
*Grammar and Dialectic art students will also be featured but not by way of open submission. Our art teachers will select a ‘Gallery Artist’ for each PK-8 grade level to represent their campus-specific class.
SUBMIT POETRY
Who can submit poetry?
Academy students, alumni, parents/grandparents, and staff!
What kind of poetry can we submit?
Writers should choose one of the four cardinal virtues (prudence, justice, fortitude, and temperance) on which to write their poem. Poems should be no longer than 36 lines.
How can we submit poetry?
Once the poem is completed, please email a copy to sm*****@**********ok.org.
What is the deadline for submission?
All poems should be emailed by Monday, September 15 at 8:00 A.M.
Can we submit multiple poems?
Yes.
Can we submit in more than one category?

SUBMIT PHOTOGRAPHY
Who can submit photography?
Academy students, alumni, parents/grandparents, and staff!
What kind of photography can we submit?
Photographers should choose one of the three theological virtues (faith, hope, love) to serve as inspiration for their photo. Photos may not be taken with an iPhone/iPad.
How can we submit photography?
Please email your photo(s) to sm*****@**********ok.org.
