The Academy Yearbook

Since the 2021-2022 school year, the Academy yearbook has been produced by the Rhetoric Yearbook Staff, a group of approximately 20 high school students who take on all aspects of planning, designing, producing, and editing the yearbook for the entire district. Our book commemorates major events in the life of the school, celebrates student achievements, and memorializes the academic year through photos, captions, and stories. 

We start taking orders for yearbooks early in the spring semester, and they are distributed in the last week of school, complete with yearbook signing events for Dialectic and Rhetoric students. Late spring events (like Griffin Games and Graduation) are included in a separate “Yearbook Supplement” which is handed out at the Parent Conference in August. (Everyone who orders a yearbook automatically receives these supplement pages.)

Photo Submissions

Because our yearbook covers events throughout the district, our Rhetoric students are always eager for your photo submissions! Please email these pictures to yearbook@theacademyok.org. 

When sending pictures of an Academy event, please be sure to include the names of the students pictured and a brief description of what is happening in the photo. Thanks in advance—we can’t do it without you!
